The Nigeria Arabic Language Village (NALV), established in 1992, is located in Ngala, Borno State, with a mandate to provide language immersion programs, compulsory Arabic acculturation programs for students, and serve as a center for Arabic language promotion. The village aims to enhance the study of Arabic language for effective communication and international relations in Nigeria.

The Acculturation Department of NALV organizes a Language Acculturation Course (L.A.C) for Arabic language students from Colleges of Education nationwide. This three-month program includes lectures, revision, and exams, covering aspects such as grammar, literature, translation, and communication skills. The targeted participants are College of Education students, who, after graduation, may teach Arabic in the new Primary Education System or other educational institutions. The courses aim to develop fluency, proficiency, and competence in Arabic language and literature.

The Acculturation Department offers courses such as grammar, written and oral communication skills, phonetics, translation, research methodology, Arabic literature, general knowledge, dictation, and methodology. The courses intend to expose students to various aspects of the Arabic language, literature, and culture. Upon successful completion, participants receive certificates qualifying them as certified Arabic teachers. The registration fee for the program is Fifteen Thousand naira (N15,000), covering examinations and health facilities.
